Noida News: Cattle are ruining the crops, food giver’s relationship with life is breaking


Etawah. Anna cattle have become a source of trouble for the farmers who grow crops day and night. The lives of the farmers are in danger. The situation is such that even after staying overnight in the fields, some are dying of shock due to the survival of the crop, while others are dying in the cold. People are also becoming victims of cattle attacks. The officers are issuing orders but no concrete campaign is being run to take them to the gaushalas.

There are 89 Gaushalas in all the eight blocks of the district. Talking about government figures, 10272 cattle are locked in them. But if we look at the ground reality, a large number of Anna cattle are roaming in the streets, mohallas, main roads and grounds. Anna herd of cattle is destroying the crops by entering the fields. By taking deposits and loans, the farmer prepares the crop with all his hard work but is unable to save it. One cattle gets 30 rupees daily for its feed, while about 100 rupees are spent on giving them enough fodder. In such a situation, attention is not being paid by the block officer and head towards keeping the cattle in the gaushala.

Case-1

When the crops of Satyaprakash, who was already struggling with financial crisis, started getting spoiled, he hanged himself on Friday morning. Due to the death of Satyaprakash, a mountain broke on the family. Wife Vijaykanti told that now how the family will survive, nothing is known. The family was running with the help of her husband. There is concern about the marriage of daughters.

Case-2

Farmer Kailash, a resident of Gopalpura village of Chakarnagar, was staying in the field for several days to take care of the wheat crop. When he returned home on the morning of January 17, his condition worsened. The relatives took him to the Medical College, where he was declared brought dead. Wife Rajanshree told that saving crops from Anna cattle is no less than a challenge. With the death of her husband, she lost her support.

Case-3

On November 5, Munna Lal Shakya, a farmer who was guarding the crops in the fields in Gopiapur village, was attacked by stray cattle. He got injured in this. He died during treatment on November 6. Son Arun Kumar told that Anna cattle have damaged the crops of many farmers. Now it is becoming difficult to run the family.

Case-4

Farmer Santosh Tiwari (62), a resident of Veerpur village of Bakwar, stayed in the field overnight to save his crops from cattle. Returning home on January 9, his condition worsened due to cold on the way. He collapsed as soon as he came home. The relatives immediately took him to the hospital. Where he died during treatment. Wife Pushpadevi and son Anuj Kumar told that the family did not even get any compensation.

Farmers told the problem

Diwan Singh, a resident of Bhikhan village of Jaswantnagar, told that wheat crop is grown in his field. Anna cattle have damaged his three bighas of wheat crop even after night vigil.

Shivraj of Nagla Khuman village told that Anna cattle damaged his four bighas of wheat crop. Had guarded the crop throughout the night but as soon as he came home the damage was done.

They also became victims of accidents

In November, Sumit, a bike rider going near Vyaspur Kothi in Bakwar town, was injured after colliding with a cow.

A month ago, the former village head of Sherpur was coming home with his wife along with medicines. In the evening, the bike collided with a bovine sitting on the middle of the road near Parag Dairy on Auraiya Road. The couple was injured in the accident.

Eight months ago, a doctor living in Noida was going to Kanpur with his colleague. His car overturned after colliding with the cows that came on the sixlane in front of Parsupura. In this, a 27-year-old young doctor died on the spot.

The number of Anna cattle has been sought from all the BDOs by conducting a survey in the area. It has been asked to count the cattle roaming in public places, villages.
