In Shaktikhand 4 of Indirapuram, bike riding robbers looted mobile from Alka Agarwal who was doing evening walk. On making noise, people ran and caught a robber. After this, he was thrashed fiercely. On information, the police took the robber into custody and admitted him to the district hospital.
Alka Aggarwal, a resident of Shakti Khand 4, told that she was walking in the colony outside the house at night after having food. After some time, when she reached the gate of the society to go home, two robbers who came on a bike from behind looted her mobile and ran away.
Making noise, he sought help from people standing at some distance. The crowd ran and dragged a robber from a moving bike and dropped him on the road and then thrashed the robber fiercely. The local people informed the Indirapuram Kotwali police about the incident.
Seeing the condition of the robber, the police immediately admitted him to the district hospital. ACP Indirapuram Swatantra Kumar Singh says that the injured robber will be interrogated after his treatment is completed. The second robber will also be caught soon.
